Insurance Reporting for Water Intrusions

MRJ Plumbing are experienced in insurance reporting relating to plumbing and leak detection, in a brief but comprehensive manner. The team will provide supporting images, and video if required. Burst Pipes

Water leaking underground can waste a lot of water. You may not know you have a problem until your water bill arrives.  Underground water leaks can cause structural damage to your property. MRJ Plumbers use acoustic technology to locate the leak. The MRJ Plumbing team will then repair the underground leak or redirect the pipework.

Mains Water Leaks

If you find water surfacing on your property or received a notice from the council regarding excess usage, MRJ Plumbing suggests you check to see if water is passing through your water meter.

Make sure there is no water being used on the property then take a photo of the numbers on the water meter. Use no water for a minimum of fifteen minutes and then take another photo of the numbers on the water meter. If the numbers have not changed you don’t have a leak. If the numbers on the right hand side have moved, you have a leak. Some water meters have leak dials. If the water meter has leak dial the black dial will move if you have a leak.
